Rejoice Always. Here's How.

Thessalonians 5:16 tells us to rejoice always!

How is that even possible?

Always? Really?

This isn’t the jumping up and down, hooting and hollering kind of rejoicing.

The word rejoice is from the Greek word chairo’.

It means to delight in God’s grace.

To experience God’s grace.

To be conscious or glad for His grace.

Regardless of our circumstances or the season that we are walking (maybe even trudging) through, good or bad, easy or difficult, God is gracious.

For out of His fullness (abundance) we have all received…one grace after another and spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and even favor upon favor and gift (heaped) upon gift. John 1:16 AMPC

Ever wonder how you got through that difficuly?

Grace.

Ever experienced the unexpected kindness of a friend or stranger?

Grace.

Ever stopped to consider the blessings or favor in your life?

Grace.

Ever consider how that thing worked out?

Grace.

I could go on and on.

In the awareness of God’s grace, we can rejoice!

When we open our eyes, begin to look around, and lift our eyes above our circumstances, we can see God’s grace all around.

By His grace, He has saved us. (Ephesians 2:8) And, His grace is sufficient even in our weakness. (2 Corinthians 12:9)

For that, we can rejoice always!
