Woo hoo! It's Friday...here's your promise for the weekend.
God will fight for you.
Remember when the Israelites were finally free from Egypt and then found themselves stuck between the sea and the approaching Egyptian army. They were terrified and cried out to the Lord.
Moses tells them, "Do not be afraid...the Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:14
If you are feeling stuck or afraid right now in your life, remember God is on your side. He will fight for you. Sometimes we need to stop trying to do all the things and fight all the battles, and simple be still.
Surrender your anxiety. Be silent. Stop your striving. Be still. And, know that He is God. (Psalm 46:10 NIV/TPT) He will fight for you.
